We are excited to announce that KaSheba aka the ‘Dancehall Diplomat’ has been named: The 2018 Brand
Ambassador for LIMEY LOVE CLOTHING!
KaSheba aka the ‘Dancehall Diplomat’ — a name which, accurately describes the multi-faceted journalist/model/dancer— who seemingly, “knows everybody…”
As a journalist, the ‘Dancehall Diplomat’ has interviewed some of the world’s most influential people:
Shaggy & Rayvon
TOP Model Eva
Funk Master Flex
Third World Band
Actor Leon Robinson
The Original Wailers
Model Tyson Beckford
Fred the Godson
Julius Garvey (Marcus Garvey’s son)
KaSheba has even interviewed TOP government officials, such as the United Nations Secretary General Bin Ki-Moon, the Prime Ministers & Presidents of all of the 14 Caribbean Island Nations including Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, Haiti, Bahamas, Guyana, Puerto Rico etc.
Further illustrating that the nickname ‘Dancehall Diplomat’ is not just very catchy, but also very accurate.
The name, ‘Dancehall Diplomat,’ funny enough, did not come from her journalism efforts—but from KaSheba’s dancing…
“As a dancer, I have trained with some of the best dancers in the world: Tavia & Tamara, Blacka Di Danca, Ravers Clavers, Laure Courtellemont, Zero Nation & Danielle Polanco just to name a few…
Known in the Dancehall community for her innovative heels style, KaSheba started to link-up with a lot of different dance crews (local and international).
“When I started, dancers always wanted to know what crew I was in (basically, what group of people I danced with) …so I began referring to myself as the ‘Dancehall Diplomat’ …meaning that, I vibe with all the crews, but I’m not a part of a crew.”
KaSheba was born in Colorado, raised in New York & grew up in New Jersey. Having corresponded for MTV, IMG, BET, Time Warner, JumpOff TV, Caribbean Television Network, and The Caribbean International Network!
KaSheba has earned a Masters Degree in TV Production & Film with a Bachelors Degree in Journalism.
